Hello, all you lovely toasties!
If you own a business, no matter what its size, you will be aware that networking is fundamental for growth. It allows you to meet likeminded people, to create new connections and consequently to grow your own business. And last, but not least, to make new friends! In the Brighton and Hove area alone, there are plenty of different networking groups. My husband and I attended a fair number of meetings over the years, and we recently decided to join Hove Toast. What we really like its positive attitude and enthusiastic vibe. And, as a fantastic bonus, its location. Right on the beach! What a great way to start your day; looking at the sea and soaking up all its energy!
Being the new kids on the block, we thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves.
The name of our company is A Room in the Garden, and, as I am sure you have already guessed, we design and build rooms in the garden! It is a family run business, born from the desire to create bespoke, high-quality and honestly priced garden room solutions. We decided, right in the middle of our lives, that we wanted to change our path entirely, so we abandoned our well-established business to start a new one! One of the craziest decisions we have ever made, (though not the only one, I have to admit!) but, so far, one of the best too! If you are curious to know more, you can read our story here.
Although we have our garden office off-the-shelf line, what we really enjoy is designing and creating bespoke garden room solutions. We love the challenge of having to create something for a small or oddly shaped garden, and we really get excited when our clients ask us to create something special and unique. From an art deco inspired summer house to an Indian style playhouse; from a futuristic garden office to a Japanese themed tea room. The possibilities are endless!
So, here we are. We are very much looking forward to getting to know everyone else in the coming months!
